We will be running our PYO Organic Blackcurrant Farm & Bakery Open Day once again on Sunday 16th July. Farm Nature trails will be open as will the Side Oven Bakery for breads, croissant, cakes and refreshments.
Open 10am till 3pm – Free entry & all welcome!
Please report to the bakery upon arrival. Bring a container to pick your blackcurrants into & please wear long sleeves as whilst being organic means there is an abundance of wildlife it also means we don’t spray off weeds & nettles!
Farm Trails & Woodland Walks
Our Nature trail is open for you to explore at your leisure. See if you can spot any of our local wildlife. Hare, Deer and Buzzard are commonplace round the farm.
The walk takes approx 40mins. Please bring suitable footwear.
Our Woodland Walks are close to the farmstead and are shorter walks (approx 10 mins) – there is the main path that is suitable for prams and wheelchairs and there is also the woodland paths that lead off from the main path that are more uneven but great fun for children!
Side Oven Bakery:

We will also be serving takeaway teas/coffees and cake on the day. There may be a small amount of breads available to buy on the day but we do advise that you pre-order if there is anything you particularly want.
Please note: this will be an outdoor event. Suitable clothing & footwear is advisable.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome.
