Follow the journey from ‘Field to Table’ at Carr House Farm Schools are welcome to our family farm to learn about farming and growing food that reflects the characteristics and heritage of the environment that we nurture through organic farming and environmental stewardship.
Tailor your visit
From seeing the wheat growing in the field, following its journey through to harvest, then on to the mill house where it is milled by the stone ground mill. The journey continues to the bakery where the flour is baked into bread. Special hands on baking sessions can be arranged for schools – a small fee is charged.
Education pack
Visits can be tailored to schools requirements, but generally include an introductory talk, farm and bakery tour plus an opportunity to follow the nature trail around the farm. See the education pack for more information.
