Once again, we are delighted to be able to open our doors for our Winter Wildlife Walks Open Day. We will be working alongside Yorkshire Wildlife Trust to offer guided wildlife walks round our Organic farm.

Bakery Open & freshly baked refreshments served all day
Free Entry. This is an out door event. Please dress accordingly.
Guided Farm Walks led by experts from the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
Walks will run at:
10:00am – Places Available
11:15am – Places Available
1pm – Places Available

There is no charge for the walks but we do require you to book as there are limited places.
Walks will be approx 1hr and will be over uneven ground – please wear suitable clothing & footwear. These are very informative walks and are great for all the family.
Our Woodland Walk will also be open on the day which you can wander round at your leisure – this is on a graveled path which is suitable for a pushchair.
Wassailing
The Makara Morris Dancers will be performing a ‘Wassail’ in our apple orchard around midday. This is always a great spectacle to watch! It involves dancing and a musical procession down to the orchard where the dancers ‘wake’ the trees to ensure we have a good apple harvest the following Autumn.
Bakery Open
The Bakery will be open for artisan Breads, Croissant, cakes, baked treats and refreshments on the day.
You can pre order your breads/ croissant order to avoid disappointment as we do tend to sell out on these days. Please place your order by email by midday on the Thursday preceding the Open Day. To view our bake list please visit
