Natural organic food and drink, grown and produced in Yorkshire
Breadmaking courses at our bakery, on our organic family farm
Provenance is at the heart of our family business
We produce tasty food and drink, using the very best natural ingredients to create traditional products that reflect the characteristics and heritage of the environment that we nurture through organic farming and environmental stewardship.
We are operating as normal during the coronavirus lockdown – our high standards of hygiene have been further extended, so we are able to safely make our products and despatch your orders while protecting our staff and keeping to the current guidelines.
Award winning organic products
Our range of breakfast cereals are created using grains from our Organic farm. Provenance is our passion and something we take very seriously whether it is milling our homegrown organic wheat, baking with our own flours or handpicking apples, elderflowers and blackcurrants from our organic orchards.
About Side Oven
Passionate about working with nature
Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, Carr House Farm is the home of the Side Oven Bakery, where the Sellers family have lived and worked for five generations. A wide range of cereals are grown, which following harvest are taken to the mill house where they are milled using a traditional stone ground mill.
Breadmaking courses for all abilities
There is no mystique in breadmaking – it is something that can be enjoyed by everyone! Our courses are suitable for beginners through to the more experienced baker. We have courses which cover many different types of bread in one session, through to specialist courses which go into more detail.
