Apple & Cinnamon Pancakes

These fluffy pancakes are an absolute treat! So easy to make and also to eat! A firm family favourite, especially when using homegrown apples!

Ingredients

300g Self Raising Flour

1 tspn Bicarbonate of Soda

2 Eggs

300ml Milk

2 Eating Apples

1 tspnĀ  Ground Cinnamon

Method

These fluffy pancakes are an absolute treat! So easy to make and also to eat! A firm family favourite, especially when using homegrown apples!

Method

Add flour, bicarbonate of soda, eggs, cinnamon & milk into a bowl and whisk into a smooth batter. Once done, add the grated apple and mix well.

Cook in a small knob of butter or sunflower oil. Butter will give a deeper golden finish but it does burn on a high heat so keep an eye on it.

After a couple of minutes the top will start to bubble which means the bottom side is cooked.

Serve warm with a drizzle of maple syrup.
