About Sideoven Bakery AT CARR HOUSE FARM
Carr House Farm
Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, Carr House Farm is the home of the Side Oven Bakery, where the Sellers family have lived and worked for five generations.

A wide range of cereals are grown on the farm, which following harvest are taken to the mill house where they are milled using a traditional stone ground mill.

The farm is situated on one of the upper headwaters of the River Hull and is an area designated a Site of Specific Scientific Interest (SSSI). Our traditional methods and involvement in an environmental stewardship scheme has created a wide range of wildlife on the farm.

Provenance is our passion
- something we take very seriously whether it is milling our wheat, pressing apples or using our farm sourced spring water in the cordials.
Our wood burning oven
Timber from the farm is used to fire our purpose built woodburning oven, the ebbing heat of the oven is ideal for toasting the granola giving an even bake and, we believe, a superior flavour.
Natural organic goodness
Here at the Side Oven Bakery we aim to produce tasty foods using the very best natural ingredients to create traditional products that reflect the characteristics and heritage of the environment that we nurture through organic farming and environmental stewardship.
Supporting a healthy lifestyle
By choosing Side Oven Bakery Granolas, you are improving the nutritional balance of your daily diet, which along with frequent activity supports a healthy lifestyle.
Working with others
"Working with Carr House Farm, Yorkshire Wildlife Trust sees a farm where wildlife thrives alongside farming operations. Through working with the land and providing space for nature, both wildlife and farming are in balance"
