Our Granola and Muesli recipes are both created using homegrown cereals from our Organic farm. Both recipes are then combined with honey and then toasted in the ebbing heat of our wood burning oven.
Our Granola also contains our own Spelt flour which gives it a delicious crunch.

We have created a range of wonderful flavours for both our Granola and Muesli all of which can be purchased from our online shop.
Situated on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds, Carr House Farm is the home of the Side Oven Bakery, where the Sellers family have lived and worked for five generations. 

Provenance is our passion
 & something we take very seriously whether it is milling our homegrown organic wheat using our traditional stoneground mill, hand picking apples, elderflowers and blackcurrants from our organic orchards, or using our farm sourced spring water in the cordials. 
There is no mystique in breadmaking – it is something that can be enjoyed by everyone!

Our courses are suitable for beginners through to the more experienced baker. We have courses which cover many different types of bread in one session, through to specialist courses which go into more detail on specific types of doughs and methods.

We also cater for private parties - if you have a group of friends who would like to bake get in touch to arrange a date!

School Visits

Schools are welcome to our family farm to learn about farming and growing food that reflects the characteristics and heritage of the environment that we nurture through organic farming and environmental stewardship.
Check out 'a day in the life' at the Side Oven Bakery, Carr House Organic Farm located in the heart of David Hockney Country East Yorkshire.
We are very excited to launch our brand new Side Oven Breakfast Club at our Summer Open Day Saturday 22nd July - this will be a ticket event and will run from 9am till 12pm. We will be serving up a variety of Yummy Breakfast options - menu to be released soon!

The Elderflower season is almost upon us, the first flowers will be ready in a weeks time. We are running an Elderflower Cordial Course on Saturday 17th June which we have a great fun morning organised and you will go home with a your very own Elderflower Cordial! 

Finally, We are launching some new products & recipes at our Summer Open Day on Saturday 22nd July. These will include our much anticipated Organic Granola with Maple, Apple & Cinnamon  - this recipe will contain no added Gluten. It is absolutely delicious!!  Secondly and on a slightly different track we will be launching our Organic Dog Biscuits!!
